Just a note

Morning! Had a lovely day out yesterday walking around Stocks Reservoir- here's a view from the top a hill that is right at the start of the walk.

It was quite breezy but we had a lovely time and enjoyed a flask of hot coffee once we got back to the car! The reservoir has a really interesting story, it was created in 1932 by flooding the Dalehead valley and with it a the small village of Stocks-in- Bowland. All the people who lived their were relocated and they even moved the church stone at a time along with graves, however, all the other houses etc remained standing in the bottoms of the reservoir!

Anyway, enough of the history lesson here's today card.....
