Brighter days

Morning, I think it's fair to say we are all looking forward to some brighter days weather wise so this card is quite appropriate. It is also inspired by the 3rd Birthday celebrations over at less is more where the theme is "rainbow".

I've been wanting to try the multicoloured layered die cut trend for a while. To be honest I'm not sure if I like the overall look of the card but I love the idea of little "hidden" rainbow behind the clouds.

To create this card I die cut some Clearly Besotted clouds in all the rainbow colours twice + white cards stock and then layered them up. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and with some post-it note masking I managed to split one sentiment across the two clouds. I added a touch of grey pen and some glitter to the edge of the clouds too.

The background was created by stamping the sun (Lawn Fawn), colouring it in with Promarkers and then masking it off before spritzing with Teal Cosmic Shimmer mist.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to enter my huge candy giveaway,

Rebecca x
