Postcard

Hello- I'm back from my little day out and I picked up a couple of crafty bargains from the Hobbycraft sale- one of which is the stamps I used to make this card. After all the 2012 Jubilee/Olympics celebrations last year lots of the specially produced "british-y" craft items are now reduced- which means even if you are only going to use a couple of the stamps in a set it makes them worthwhile. I got two Docrafts Portabello Road stamps sets for £4 which I think is a great deal. The sets have lots of generic images like postcards, postmarks, crowns, stamps, London Bus etc which are ideal for collage type cards. AND this is what I have done here, although I've tried to maintain the CAS feel by limiting the colours.

I've simple stamped various elemnts from the "postage" set of stamps onto the base Kraft card and a hammered off-white card which I then layered up. I sued some posatge theme washi tape and a tiny bit of twine along the bottom. As you can probably see I also carried my stamping on inside as you all gave such positive feedback when I did it on this card- thank you!
