Hello friend!

Good morning, can't believe it is Saturday already- that's half of the Eater hols gone already!

Today I have a card made using a colour combo I wouldn't normally go for- lime and black, however I feel it works quite well on this card. I've used several stamp sets from Clearly Besotted (love, love LOVE, these stamps- as soon as I know how much my car has cost to repair I'm going to buy some of the new gorgeous stamps and dies!).

I used the background builder stamp to make the strip across the card and the Butterfly wishes additions with matching die t make the butterfly. The sentiment is from a Marion Emberson set (find joy everyday I think) and the ribbon, gems and sequins are from my stash.

To finish the card I also stamped the butterfly image on the edge of the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you ahve a lovely day and hopefully I'll be back with more crafting later.

  2. It's not a colour combo I would go for as well, but it does work so perfectly with your design! I love how you have combined so well chevrons, dots and checkers (if that's the right word???) and your idea of using the stamps inside the card as well. Great result! Thank you for playing with us at Addicted to CAS!
