WOYWW with Easter treats

Hello and happy WOYWW- don't forget to pop over and see what Julia and the other crafters are up to on their desk too. I don't have a very busy work desk this week (after last weeks bomb site) or a card to share instead I have a insight into how I organize my crafting space and some yummy Easter treat boxes I've made for my department at work.

First to my desk- quite clean and tidy after a weekend of sorting all the mess showcased last week- all the stamps have been cleaned and put back into their folders, ink pads are back in their drawer, paper and card scraps are stored or binned depending on size and my tool carrousel is now fully operational. The only "work in progress" is in the tiny plastic box which contains some ribbon bows I have been making from otherwise useless tiny lengths of ribbon.

As I left my drawers open on the first photo I thought I'd let you see how i sort and store a few of my craft items, sorry about the lighting!!! Here you can see how I organize my ink pads- I mostly used Memento dewdrop ink pads, although I have others stored else where. As you can see when they are tidy they all stand in the drawer and are grouped according to colours. I have the labels showing the colours visible so it is easy to see what I want to use.

The drawer underneath contains embellishments- mainly gems. You can see I have a total love for lockable storage boxes (Really useful boxes).

Finally, the third drawer in the set contains my ribbons- on the rights are lengths wound onto card. The left is a selection of assorted lengths of ribbon and trim which I recently purchased from QVC (really quite cheap too). Each colour group is on a plastic hanger so I have left them like this for the meantime. The box contains all my short lengths of ribbon.

And now onto my Easter treats........

I was inspired to make these little thank you gift up when I spotted this photo at Moxie Fab World- It made me think of Cadburys Mini Eggs straight away BUT on reflection I think they maybe be sugared almonds!

Once I'd bought the eggs I was rummaging in my stash for something to present them in and came across these little takeaway boxes. They were really cheap 99p for 8 I think and they come in a selection of cute colours. Each box contains a bag of mini eggs and mini mini eggs tied up with twine. The boxes are then decorated with a Kraft tag stamped with Easter chicks, egs and a sentiment from a Forever friends set. I added a couple of gems and tied the tags on with co-ordinating ribbon.

Here you can see the selection I made in different colours and as they are Easter themed I would like to enter them into the Cute Card Thursday challenge- Easter Parade. and Crafty creations challenge which is Easter.

Sooooo, quite a lengthy post all in all- thanks for visiting and I'll pop round your blogs later on,

Rebecca x
