Hello, this little stripy number was made from strips of blue card which were mounted onto an A6 base. Then I stamped a flower head from the PTI Springtime doodles set along the edge. I added the black gingham ribbon across the top to add some dimension and texture as well as popping a tiny yellow bottom on the middle of each flower head.
I was totally inspired as soon as I saw the Marion's card from Muse challenge #9- the stripes are so striking. However, I have to admit I actually found it hard to work with such a bold design. I think that is why the black ribbon works well.
I would also like to enter this for the colourQ challenge:
Thanks for stopping by,
Rebecca x
