This card has been made using a new-to-me technique, paper folding. I made the card using various K&co papers which is chose using the colour inspiration from daring card makers this week.
I used a strip of brown paper to make a pleated border and finish with a double layer of ribbon.
The rosette is made from two 12" strips of paper that have been folded, stuck together and then curled round into a circle. Sticking this concertina shape down was a little tricky but with a lot of PVA and a great deal of patience it held. I finished the topper with a tiny bit of leftover ribbon, some punched shapes and a craftwork cards sentiment.
I think it looks really sophisticated although with such depth on the embellishments this will have to be a hand delivered card rather than one for the post.
