Fright night tree.

Hello, gosh I think it's been nearly a week since my last post- as you know school it taking over my life (as ever) and crafting is way, way down the pile. I'm also finding it hard to make anything that I'm really proud of which make me feel REALLY fed up. But, tomorrow is my birthday so today I thought I'd treat myself to some crafty time and hopefully make some cards to post over the next week. To start with I have a card for the Less is more challenge this week where the theme is trees.

I've got lots of little Halloween cards and gifts to make as end of term gifts for my department so I've used the silhouette tree stamp from the Clearly Besotted "fright night" set. I used a circle die to make a round "moon" stencil which I ink through and then embossed with white embossing powder. I know it's simple but it makes a start on what will hopefully be a nice crafty afternoon.

See you soon,

Rebecca x

  1. Great card Rebecca and I know exactly how you feel .. sometimes life just takes over doesn't it and crafting ends up the least priority then when you get back to it you can't remember how to create anything. Like going back to school after the long summer holidays and not knowing how to hold a pencil!!! Anyway well done your card is great and hope you have a wonderful birthday tomorrow.
