Good afternoon- this is my second post of the day and I thought I'd share a one layer card I've made. I used to hate single layer cards as they looked so flat and dull, but if you put some thought into the design and add some carefully planned, minimal embellishments they can b e just as great as more fussy cards. you also have to be prepared to waste a few cards- personally I always do a trail run using some scrap paper. In fact I have an A6 sized scrap paper pad just for "trail runs".
I used the flowers from the SU set summer silhouettes and the sentiment from teeny, tiny sentiments. I used masking, pearlesent ink and glitter to add depth and interest to this simple card.
Challenge inspiration:
CAS-ual Fridays- aqua, green, orange
Paper Players- clean and simple one layer card
CAS(E) this sketch- #41
I hope you're having a nice weekend, the sun is shining over Blackpool. Thanks for stopping by,
