Sunshine

Good evening, quite a late post from me today. I spotted the Lawn Fawn blog (lawnscaping) were having a DT call and I couldn't resist having a play with some of my favorite stamps. The team are asking us to show the our style.

I guess my style would have to be CAS which fits perfectly with these gorgeous graphics and fonts from Lawnfawn. I chose this design as it was such a beautiful afternoon today when we were walking the dog and I finally think summer (maybe) is on the way!

Here's how I made my card. First I stamped the sun outline (from the Sunny Skies stamp set) on to yellow textured card and added the smile before fussy cutting it and adding adhesive foam to the back. Next I stamped the cloud outlines in black and then covered them with the "smile" sentiment (from the year three stamps set) in pale blue all over them.  I also added stickles glitter glue to give them a sparkle!

After cutting three of the clouds out I layered them all at different heights along with the sun. The sentiment is also from the Sunny Skies set but I only inked up the "sunshine" part (the whole sentiment says you are my sunshine). Finally, I added a length of ribbon onto the base card under the central panel and lined the indie with white paper.

Thanks for stopping by,
