Thinking of you

Hello- happy Saturday!

My card today is a simple one layer card. I have embossed two lines close to the bottom of the card and used my hole punch to create two small notches to hold a length of knotted twin in place. I really can't claim this nifty idea of my own- but it really does work a treat!

The dotty background is from Clearly Bessotted stamps (background builders), the sentiment is from a Kirsty Wiseman set I think and the butterfly is from Craftwork cards. Everything has been stamped straight onto the base card using Memento inks (Lulu lavender and Sweet plum).

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to take a look at my paperstash card candy!

Hi Chrissie, yes there are stripes son the twine but there are also two embossed lines either side of the twine that haven't really show up too well in the photo.

Beautiful card Rebecca. Love the Clearly Besotted background builder and that tip for keeping the twine in place is great. Thanks for joining in our challenge at A2CAS.
