Hello, hope you're having l lovely weekend. Today's card has been made combing several challenges. Now, being on a couple of DTs I know how annoying it is when people enter a billion challenges with their creations and many of which don't even fit the required rules/guidelines etc. BUT I really enjoying trying to combine challenges, especially when I have more time on my hands or if I'm lacking inspiration.
Firstly the cue word from CASology- which is game! I've been trying to think of something for this all week and in was only when I started looking for some love themed letter stamps I found a magazine freebie that has the word love in little tiles- like scrabble. I was looking for letter and word stamps as the challenge over at CASual Fridays is "love letters" and they'd like projects that use lettering.
The layout is taken from Freshly made sketches- I was so excited to find out I had won the previous sketch with this card I thought I'd give this weeks a go too.
The colours are from dynamic duos- real read and pretty pink (plus neutrals)
So, as I said I started with the the Love stamp, which actually came as a square but I coloured and cut them out. I then attached them to a tag cut from some wood grain card. I added a eyelet and some twine and popped a pink gem on the heart. Next, following the sketch, I added a heart which I drew stitching on to. Finally, I stamped the XOXOXOXOXO onto a tiny strip of white card which I colored with promarkers to match my other letters. Oh, and I added few more pink gems.
Thanks for stopping by,
