Trash or stash!

Hello, today I have a card which has been made from some really old Papermania stamps that I bought years ago and then never really used. As part of a new years resolution about getting better organized with crafting (I've done loads of tidying, sorting, reorganizing already- plan to share ASAP) I have decided that everything in my stash needs to earns its keep- if I don't use something (or I'm not likely to in the near future) it has to go. I'm not sure where it will go to- eBay or maybe Freecycle but I'm not hoarding outdated or unusable craft stuff anymore!!!

Anyway, rant over, as I said I've had very little use out of these stamps since I got them- probably because I purchased them BP (before promarkers) so any attempt to colour them looked like a small child had attached the image with a boy of Crayola.

So, I cracked out this set (from my newly organized stamp storage folders) which is called Woodland Folk, Perfect day and made this card. I decided to CASE the layout of this card from Debbie over at Limedoodle- love her work, and I have to say I'm quite pleased with the final product. I think the touch of glossy accents just adds the right amount of "pop"!

As always your comments are most welcome, always read and very much appreciated AND I would encourage everyone in crafty blog land to take a look at their crafty piles of paper, card, stamps etc and decided if it remains stash or become trash!

(*health warning, having found a new found love for these stamps I now wouldn't mind the other stamps in the set Home sweet home and Friends., woops!)

Thanks for popping in,

Rebecca x
