I used the theme of black, white plus a pop of another colour from Less is More and the layout from Freshly Made Sketches.

Firstly, I die cut a black scalloped border using a Tim Holtz die to which I attached a white strip of card with the sentiment on (Hero Arts).

Then I die cut three heart from card and vellum and used my machine to sew them together.

I attached these to the square base card, overlapping the sentiment strip with another, larger vellum heart behind. Finally, to add my pop of red I attached three gems.

 Thanks for stopping by today,

Rebecca x

  8. I love the way you have used this sketch. I'm not sure of the papers I used for my card - I had a 'Secret Santa' present of lots of different papers. I like these so much I now only have snippets left!
