Good evening, that's if anyone is out there. I'm sure some of you are a bit disappointed with my lack of posts lately. I can only apologise and say that life got in the way and I will try to do better!
Today's card has been made by using dry embossing technique with an emossing folder. It is something I've been meaning to try for ages- I opened out a starburst embossing folder (Papermania/ Me to you) and put it over a clear piece of perspex (actually a Cuttlebug plate) balanced on top of my daylight bulb (I know a light box would be the easier option but as I don't have one I had to improvise. Then I used an embossing stylus to pick out the bits of the design I wanted.
Next I stamped the image and sentiment (don't know the make I'm sorry) and coloured both the image and emossing very lightly with colouring pencils. Finally I added a touch of glitter and a couple of clear gems.
I really like the finished card- definitely be try this technique again to get more use from my embossing folders.
