Hello- happy Monday everyone!
This is a really exciting post for me as it's my first as part of the design team over at Crafty Cardmakers.
This week the challenge is- Stitching and Lace.
We would like to see some stitching, either hand, machine or faux on your project as WELL as some lace, real not faux. There is an added twist of using a sewing related image or stamp, if you have one, but it is not a requirement. We have a fab prize from Hobby Art stamps:
I used a Sizzix die to create the dress and mannequin. I embellished this with mini pearl, ribbon and lace. I used some Papermania 12x12 retro patterned paper for the layers and added faux stitching around the edges. The sentiment is from an American brand- Lawn Fawn which I thought was perfect because of the sticking detail around the edges. Finally, I attached some mini heart buttons.
