Morning!

Morning, sorry about the few days absence but our internet when down (grrr). But, I'm fully operational again so normal service can be resumed.

This card is for my husbands' Aunt, whose birthday it is later this month. I took the "sewing" theme from less is more to create this flower. I stamped the Molly Blooms flower and then paper pricked holes all over the design to allow me to use ribbons and fibers to embroider the image. I added beads and a touche of glitter to bling it up at the end. This is the first time I've ever used this technique on cards and I think with a bit of practice it could be a winner!

Thanks for popping in,

Rebecca x x x

I was chuffed at my cough cough sewing! and last night sat and drew points to make a faux dandelion. I stitched and searched for seed beads. SO glad I didn;t present mine now lol

  24. Ribbon embroidery was my passion a few years ago, but I never thought to do it on a card and for sure wouldn't have thought to combine it with stamping and bead work like you did. This card just really raises the bar on perfection way out of the stratosphere. We are all so lucky we get to see your work here and don't have to pay like we would if you were showing in a commercial gallery like you should be.

Now i can hardly wait til i can get back hewre to see the rest of your creations.

    Thanks for sharing.
