Good morning everyone and HAPPY Saturday. I was onto today's LIM challenge quite quickly today but had to wait while the glossy accents I has used dried before taking a photo and posting it. The challenge this week over at Less is more is to design a card using their sketch. I also decided to use the theme from the Secret crafter Saturday challenge- bright and cheerful.
I took an old Hero Arts (I think) stamp which has the word happy and 5
candles and repeated it across and piece of card. I coloured each candle
with a different coloured Promarker. I added stickles glitter glue to
the flames and several layers of glossy accents to the candles to make
them look like they are dripping with molten wax. ( hope this shows up in the close-up photos)
I some green glitter card behind (cut with Sizzix die) and stamped the word birthday which I embellished with gems.
Ta-da!

Those Glossy Accents candles are fab, super card!
ReplyDeleteFabulous and how patient are you with the several layers of glossy accents? Don't they take ages to dry?
ReplyDeleteKathyk
I have actually found glossy accents that comes in a pen like tube from The Range which makes the whole application process much more accurate it does take 20 mins or so to dry but I added the multiple layers quite quickly so the blended together a bit.
