CASology #3

Good afternoon, another day and another card, woohoo! Today's (first) card has a fruity theme which ties in with the cue card from CASology and the theme at a passion for Promarkers. 

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed when I eagerly looked at this weeks CASology challenge because I knew I didn't have any fruit related craft items. BUT...... after having a good rummage I found that I do have these build a cupcake stamps from Docrafts which includes the cute strawberry topping. So, I hope it counts for both challenges if I say it's a strawberry cupcake!



I stamped the pieces, colored them with Promarkers and added them  to a Papersmooches sentiment which was stamped on a MTF fishtail banner.


I hope I've also kept to the CASology checklist- I only have 1 main image, it's uncluttered, limited layers and embellishments and I'm sure it would be quick and easy to recreate.

    Hey, strawberry cupcakes count as fruit to me (and banana bread, and carrot cake is pretty healthy too, right?) lol! This CAS card is lovely! I love the pop of bold colour from the strawberry and the ribbon! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

    Believe it or not, I almost made a cupcake card too! :) Fruit comes in all forms...real or imitation...and all different colors! LOL! Love your yummy looking cupcake and that sweet little strawberry perched on top! Wonderfully CAS and fruit-y! :) Thanks for joining us at CASology this week!

    I'm with Ardyth on the idea of strawberry cupcakes, banana bread, and carrot cake being healthy. And if you put applesauce in the carrot cake, it's a twofer! It's a very sweet card, I really like the colors and the ribbon is the perfect touch!
