What a lovely day, and having spent the morning in the garden battling triffid like weeds I have retreated to my craft room this afternoon. And, I was very pleased to find that my entry for the Pile it on clean and simple challenge was picked in the top three this week!
For today's creation I decided to use the recipe challenge from less is more, which is to make a shaped card (other than square or rectangle) to make a set of thanks you cards for a colleague.
I made each base card in the same way- 1 large scalloped circle, a "stand" fixed to the reverse, a smaller circle mounted on the front with foam pads, a "thanks" sentiment from Paper Smooches, 3 silver gems and then each one with a different coloured twill bow. I think they make a lovely, dinky little set of note cards.
Thanks for looking,
p.s. last week of my very first blog candy- do take a look!
