Birthday Bash

Afternoon,  I've been battling with a migraine for the last few days but have finally begun to feel a bit  better this afternoon and what better way to spend my time than making a card (or two).

After getting an honourable mention in the last challenge from The Shabby Tearoom I thought I'd enter this weeks challenge- Birthday bash. A project inspired by the photo and includes cupcakes.

The card was made with papers form the K&co Sweet Nectar designer paperpad. The cupcake case was handfolded from a 6" strip of paper, the frosting was created using the thought bubble die from X-cut and edged with glitter glue. The sentiments and bunting were stamped using images from the Papermania celebration stamp set.

The easel card base is from Kanban (via QVC) and is a bit of a different shae for me.

Thanks for looking,
