This weeks challenge over at Less is More is "don't scrap it" and they are asking us to use up some of our scraps. Easy huh? apparently not, this card has taken me all afternoon and is one in a long line of unappealing creations. Anyway, I'm quite happy with the final product and went along a masculine theme as I need a card for a male colleague next week.
The card was made using a Dovecraft wooden stamp which I've only ever used once before. I stamped it onto white card first (a salvaged piece form a previous "messed up" card) and then onto several scraps of green and blue card. I cut out each one of the candles and paper pieced them over the original image using Pinflair glue for added dimension. Then I added the gem candles. I rounded the corner using my WRMK corner chomper and then mounted the stamped image on to a scrap of blue card and then added the other left over strips to the bottom of the card.
