Happy Birthday Dad!

Just a quick post today as I've got lots of work on for the week ahead (but I may be back later).


This is a birthday card for my Dad which I am quite proud of simply because of the time it  took to create and that I stuck with it despite all the fiddly little bits of cutting out!

The bear image is from LOTV and it is called "cheers bear" I believe and the Dad sentiment is from Papermania. For each of the image I stamped them several times, coloured them with Promarkers and decoupaged them using Pinflair glue. I curved each layer slightly before gluing and added a touch of glitter and sparkle to the final layers. I also added a grey "shadow" round each of the images to make it sit better of the large 8x8 card base.

And to finish a sprinkle of silver stars. Oh and looped a piece of twine through the letter D and added a Happy Birthday button.
