This card was inspired by the Friday Mashup Challenge:
- Make a project that "Sparkles".
- Or Make a project "Celebrating the New Year".
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a project "Celebrating the New Year that Sparkles" .
I went for the full "mash up" and made a simple but sparkly new year card. I ran apiece of silver mirri through my cuttlebug using the flowers embossing folder that it came with. I added the black gorsgrain ribbon bow to the silver card layer. The I mounted this on to black card and the onto the 5x7" base card. Next I used some very old stickers from the very bottom of my sticker box (slae purchase from years ago!). I mounted the stickers on silver mirri and adhered to the card with foam pads. Finally, I used pinflair glue to atach various sequins and gems.
A simple card that took over 20 attempts to photograph because it was so shiny!
Paper Sundaes- out with old in with the new (all the materials are old but the embossing folder and the cuttlebug and NEW!)
