Sail away....

Hello, sorry about the late post- I've not be very well over the past few days but I needed to make a card for my brother-in-law as it's his birthday on the weekend.

I've cracked open a new SU stamp set called "The open sea" which is combined with the Wood Plank background stamp from MFT.

I've used watercolour pencils to add some colour to the stamped image and pearls add the "port-hole" feel to the circle die cuts. I'm not sure if you can tell but the blue background paper, which is some very old 12x12 paper from K&co, has fishes all over it and I've stamped extra map and nautical details on top.

I know it's not very CAS or like my usual cards but it's perfect for th occasion, and sometimes that's what card making is all about!

I'll try to get another card made and posted as soon as possible.
